THANK YOU for supporting (SJCF) and for getting involved in the 2024 Light up the Night cancer walk!
Traditionally, we have required a certain number of people to attend for each “team” and create a booth for the event. Additionally, it was an all night event and this one will only be from 3 PM to midnight. This year, you do not have to commit to attending OR hosting a booth but we would love to see you there for this incredible in-person event! We welcome everyone JOIN US and walk throughout the night! But we also understand that some of our strongest supporters may not be able to attend for one reason or another and any support you can offer, even if it is strictly monetary, is also encouraged.
So, for this year’s Light up the Night, we are simply asking that each team commit to RAISING $2000. That’s it! If you are able to attend and/or have a booth presence to sell food, drink, services or goods, GREAT. We would love to have you! If you are unable to be present for the event, that’s also okay! There are still ways to support and participate as we have created ways that you can use your online presence and your own establishment to support Light up the Night and SJCF!
FIRST- Please go to our Donately campaign and create your fundraiser for your team. This takes less than ten minutes and once completed, you will have a link to drive funding directly in support of your team’s efforts- Light up the Night - March 30, 2024 by St. John Cancer Fund | Donately
Once you have set up your page, it’s time to start sharing! We have created a few Social Media Graphics that you can share to your Facebook, Instagram and website (see the links below) along with your team link from Donately. You are also welcome to create your own content if you like! The last graphic has a space for you to add your logo as well.
We will drop some posters off with you that you can hang in your establishment or around town. There is a QR code on these posters that will allow your patrons and supporters to scan and support your team and Light up the Night!
If you would like a booth space and have not already indicated as such, please respond to this email and let us know so we can reserve space for you. If you are planning to have a booth, we will send another email with details before the end of February so you can plan appropriately for March 30!
If you would like to plan or host a FUNdraiser, please reach out so we can arrange for one or some of us from SJCF to be present for assistance!
We have less than TWO months to gather our resources and raise funds to help more St. John community members affected by CANCER. Let’s rally together and give it our all!
